MARK Jermyn has yet to make his mind up about where Nathan Walker will play ahead of tomorrow’s Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division clash with Biggleswade Town at the Avenue (3pm).

The Dorchester stalwart played an hour at the back during Tuesday’s 2-0 success over Cinderford Town before going up front to score the first goal in the 63rd minute and his ninth of the season.

Asked where he will be playing against the Waders, Jermyn kept his cards close to his chest, and told Echosport: “I will keep that to myself.”

Luckily, he was more open when talking about his opposition, explaining: “They’re going to come at us and attack

“I will make sure that we have our homework right and we have to make sure we set up right.”

Speaking about his side, he remarked: “Tuesday wasn’t the greatest game in the world but that had to do with the Baltic conditions and the pitch.

“The pitch will play a part on Saturday because it will be cold.

“It’s important that we keep our concentration and I want our work rate to go back up to when we played at Kettering, because, there, we were outstanding.

“I know we can reach those levels and we kept with the same starting line-up (on Tuesday) so we will see where we’re at tomorrow.”

It’s unlikely that there will be a raft of changes to the Magpies’ starting XI from their midweek victory with everyone coming through unscathed.

Ben Wood and Jason Brookes impressed Jermyn in the last two games and the manager wants his in-form players to remain in the starting line-up.

He added: “Sometimes you need to make changes but, those two are playing very well.”

“Our levels of consistency haven’t been great this season and it’s not always something you can put your finger on.

“I think it will be a good game for us against Biggleswade.”
