SHERBORNE TOWN 0

WEYMOUTH 4

A HAT-TRICK from Weymouth striker Conor Jevon helped the Terras reach the last four of the Dorset Senior Cup, with a 4-0 win at Sherborne Town.

Jevon opened the scoring and notched twice more after the interval before Stewart Yetton pounced on a goalkeeping error to make it 4-0 on his first start back since returning from a hamstring injury.

Having only featured 24 hours earlier against King’s Lynn Town, Jason Matthews selected a mixed starting XI, with a number of faces coming in from the club’s reserve squad.

The Terras are the defending champions in the regional competition, having won the cup for the last two seasons.

They will go into the hat for the last four as the highest ranked side left in the competition, alongside Gillingham Town, Wimborne Town and Swanage Town & Herston.

Terras: N Thomas, Wells, Sa (Jansz-Baker), Stewart, Michie, Butcher, Smith, Lowes, Yetton, Jevon (De Graft-Coleman, Rodriguez (Panesar-Dower). Subs not used: Matthews, Jackson.
