WEYMOUTH Football club have got their search for a new manager underway by advertising the job role to applicants.
The Terras yesterday announced that boss Jason Matthews will be leaving the club after Tuesday’s Dorset Senior Cup final with Gillingham Town.
Applications to succeed Matthews in the hot-seat need to be in just two days after he ends his tenure.
A statement from the club reads: “Weymouth Football Club invites applications for the vacant position of first team manager. This post is a part-time position.
“Applicants should be a suitably qualified professional with vision and acumen to take the club forward both on and off the pitch. The board of directors have a vision for the progression of the club and require a manager to share such ambition.
“Management experience at Southern Premier League level or above is not however a prerequisite for a suitable candidate who can demonstrate the above.
“Applications will be in writing and include a detailed footballing CV, plus information regarding any current contractual arrangements with an existing club.
“The details must be submitted by email to secretary@theterras.co.uk. All applications will be treated as private and confidential.”
The closing date for applications is on Thursday, April 13 (5pm).
