DORSET’S Yasmin Davis has won the Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter Masters' tournament.

The competition proved tough at the British Showjumping National Championships, held at the NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

With 10 through to the jump off it was Blandford-based Davis who stormed into the lead to take the win with Alison Davis’ eight-year-old bay gelding, Zanbowa Z.

With both Yasmin and second-placed rider Joe Clayton riding El Wee Widge having already picked up their HOYS qualifiers, the HOYS tickets passed down to the following riders: Emma Crawford with Ferragamo L who was placed third, Louise Saywell with both Sultanah and Hashtag placed fourth and fifth respectively, and Carron Nicol with Finnegan D.

Davis followed this success up when she won the National Grade C Championship Final, again riding Zanbowa Z.

The pair produced a beautiful clear in the first round and then went clear in a quick time of 39.17 seconds.
