DOLPHIN & T Bar FC got their defence of the Weymouth Sunday Football League underway winning 10-3 against Dorchester's Sydney Arms FC at Thomas Hardye School.

Adam Anstey's man-of-the-match performance saw him hit the net first with a header from a Dean Williams corner. Oscar Preece then doubled the current league holders' lead, with an header Anstey making it 3-0. Captain Danny Andrews then converted a spot-kick, which made the half-time score 4-1.

Dolphin fished for more goals after the interval with Sean Gulliver finding the net.

Grant Chance added a brace, as well as a goal from Dolphin & T Bar FC newcomer Tom Ryan and goalkeeper Clinton Coltart.

Anstey continued to shine securing a hat-trick. Second-half goals from Chucky Taylor and Dolphins' left-back Liam Taylor converting an own goal gave Sydney Arms FC three consolation goals.

After the game Dolphin & T Bar FC backroom staff Joshua Cowan and Sean Gulliver thanked the T Bar and the Closet in Weymouth for their sponsorship and support.

Dolphin & T Bar FC haven't lost a competitive game since May 2016, and look to continue their success in the FA Sunday Cup national competition, when they host Bristol's Lebeqs Tavern Courage FC on Sunday, October 15. However, this Sunday they face league newcomers Wyke Social FC at Redlands.
