ON SUNDAY, the Andrew Simpson Watersports Centre on Portland (ASWC Portland) will throw open its doors once again to the community for its annual birthday open day.
Activities that ASWC Portland will be offering on the day include free sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding for those five or above.
There will be activities for the whole family including inflatables, a raffle and a barbecue.
At 2pm, the Great Dorset Cardboard Boat Race will be returning for its fourth year.
Last year’s event had more than 20 entries into the race, with some unique designs.
