BRIDPORT assistant-manager Paddy Behan admits it is a bit frustrating to be playing a replay against Wellington after drawing their first match 0-0 in the FA Cup extra preliminary round.

Last year the Bees made it to the third qualifying round but fell in a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat to National League South side St Albans City.

When asked if the replay is frustrating Behan admitted it was a little bit but admits that the additional game is probably helpful at this stage.

Behan said: "It is a little bit. We did not play fantastically well, we did not play badly. We were not as quite as fluent as we can be so that probably hampered us a little bit.

“It is a little bit annoying but to be honest it is another game and I think because our pre-season was so hampered I think the more games we get under our belts the better we will be.”

Behan dismissed any notion that the Bees’ run last year adds any further pressure to the contest.

Behan said: “At the end of the day financially the FA Cup is great for the club but personally for myself and Fricks (Bridport boss Adam Fricker) we would prefer to achieve more in the league.

“If it happens again like last season, fantastic, if it doesn’t then we are not going to be crying it is just one of those things.”

Louis Rutter will face a late fitness test for the Bees, while Chris McGrath and Mark Salter are unavailable while Matt Condliffe is still at least two weeks away from returning.

James Regan will be available for the match tonight however, which will be at Cullompton Rangers’ ground with the Wellington pitch unavailable (7.45pm).
