SOUTH Dorset Giants will look to avenge last month's 80-4 defeat at the hands of the Southampton Spitfires when the two sides meet at Monmouth Avenue tomorrow (2.30pm).
After securing a 38-24 victory in their last outing against Exeter Centurions, the Giants are in confident mood ahead of the game.
Captain Dave Allan said: "The match against Exeter was one of the best games of rugby I have been involved with for a long time.
"The skill and fitness levels were fantastic, and to win in only our second game was a true testament to the players and especially the coaching of Anthony Cowburn.
"He is certainly one of the best coaches around regardless of code. We have had a few new players join in the last two weeks so the squad is looking quite healthy and they have integrated themselves very well.
"We played Sothampton in our first game and really didn't do ourselves justice but with the quality of players available this week we are hopeful of a positive result.
"Rich Polley, Ian MacConnachie, Ian Tibble and Craig Barter are all available so it really is exciting times for the club."
The Giants are still seeking sponsors so if you would like to be associated with the club, please visit southdorsetgiants.co.uk.
