WEYMOUTH Football Club have put boss John Hollins on gardening leave as they investigate whether there has been a breach of contract by a member of the management team.
In a statement issued today, the Terras confirmed that Hollins has been released from his duties with immediate effect.
The club will not release any further details at this stage. However, it is anticipated that the process will be complete within the next 28 days, following which a further statement will be made.
Assistant-boss Alan Lewer will take control of first-team duties until further notice.

It doesnt matter how well respected any body is, if they have breached their contract then their employers are quite within their rights to investigate. Surely they have to have the interests of the FC uppermost in their minds. You go on to say the infomation was leaked, well is that the football clubs fault? . Prehaps they did not want to wash their dirty washing in public, prehaps they didnt want the manager embarrased about this if the allegations proved unfounded. Prehaps the club didnt want to be dragged any more in to the mire to which it is already in, Maybe a statement was being produce by the club, when the nobody from another club decided to leak what may have been confidential infomation.
