Hollins on gardening leave

WEYMOUTH Football Club have put boss John Hollins on gardening leave as they investigate whether there has been a breach of contract by a member of the management team.

In a statement issued today, the Terras confirmed that Hollins has been released from his duties with immediate effect.

The club will not release any further details at this stage. However, it is anticipated that the process will be complete within the next 28 days, following which a further statement will be made.

Assistant-boss Alan Lewer will take control of first-team duties until further notice.

Just been on the fans forum and apparently Crawley's manager knew about this a couple of days ago, so I contacted a ex terras legend who is still playing, and he had told me this on tuesday evening and at the time I thought it was a wind up look like its all true.

Lets hope that guy comes back who was on here last night, his comments were really juicy. I see they got removed! But it sounded like more than one investigation should be taking place.

I fail to see how this makes the FC and MC a joke. It doesnt matter how well respected any body is, if they have breached their contract then their employers are quite within their rights to investigate. Surely they have to have the interests of the FC uppermost in their minds. You go on to say the infomation was leaked, well is that the football clubs fault? . Prehaps they did not want to wash their dirty washing in public, prehaps they didnt want the manager embarrased about this if the allegations proved unfounded. Prehaps the club didnt want to be dragged any more in to the mire to which it is already in, Maybe a statement was being produce by the club, when the nobody from another club decided to leak what may have been confidential infomation.

Until the club comes out with a more detailed account of recent events, I respectfully suggest you and I know nothing about the goings on at the FC..............
