WEYMOUTH chairman George Rolls and vice chairman Pranas Preidzius have issued a statement on the Terras' website, apologising for Saturday's 6-0 defeat to Basingstoke and offering free admission to the next home match as a result.
In the statement on the club's website, Rolls and Preidzius said: "We would like to apologise for the performance that we all witnessed at the Wessex last Saturday.
"This is not what we at the football club expect and you as paying fans do not deserve.
"Therefore on Tuesday, February 23, for the league fixture against Braintree Town we have decided that it will be free entry to all of the public of Weymouth.
"We would like to thank you all for your continued support and we can assure you that we are working tirelessly to make sure that club goes moves forward in the right direction.
"We look forward to seeing at you next Tuesday."
