PREMIERSHIP leaders FC WindowMan face a difficult test when they travel to Budmouth to take on Tuatara Bar, fresh from their emphatic victory against title rivals Britannia.

The leaders have been dealt a blow this week with centre-back Wayne Day deciding to take a break from football for personal reasons and forward Russell North transferring to Championship leaders AFC Duke of Albany.

Also missing are the suspended trio of Danny Andrews, Nigel Evans and Sean Stewart, but boss Adam Parker welcomes back Phil Lee after his suspension and is also hopeful that top scorer Matt Brown will have recovered from a dead leg.

Assistant-manager Rob Pavey said: “After last week’s performance we are in buoyant mood.

“Despite missing several key squad members, we showed what we are capable of against a strong Brit side and I’m sure other sides have taken notice of that result.

“There will be at least two enforced changes this week, with Sean and Wayne not available, but with captain Adam Anstey returning to fitness and Phil back from suspension, we will look to push on from last weekend’s crucial result.”

Galaxy Windows know they have the daunting task of having to win all of their remaining three fixtures in the Premiership if they are to have any chance of finishing out of the bottom two.

Last weekend’s win for the Railway means the Portland side have to pick up maximum points this weekend against Moby Dick’s.

Galaxy boss Kev Prince said: “The draw last weekend against a strong Snookes side lifted everyone at the club and we know its certainly a big ask but why shouldn’t we believe anything other than three victories is possible.

“Myself and the players know we are not the worst team in this league by far and a little bit more luck in some of the tight games, especially at the start of the season, would have seen us clear by now.

Galaxy will continue with the same 11 as last week, except for Justin Yule who needs keyhole surgery on a troublesome knee. Waters is likely to deputise at left-back.”

Bar 314 go into their match with Snookes knowing that a tough game lies ahead, especially as they are sweating on the fitness of key striker James Douglas (heel).

Matt Wisdom is already ruled out because of a chest infection but boss Mike Winter is confident his charges can keep up their good run of form.
