WEYMOUTH have officially been deducted four points from last season's total over the Solomon Taiwo affair.

Conference officials informed Terras of the long-awaited decision after Altrincham lost an appeal over a separate 18-point penalty for fielding an ineligible player.

Terras punishment means Garry Hill's men officially won the Conference South championship by four points, finishing on 90 points.

Chairman Martyn Harrison said the Wessex Stadium outfit still believe the penalty, which does not include any financial fine, was harsh but do not plan to appeal.
