CHRIS Senior and Darren Watts will both return for Bridport tomorrow when they take on Hallen at St Mary’s Field (3pm).

The Bees suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of league leaders Willand Rovers last Monday and this weekend’s opponents are expected to be just as tough.

Hallen have only lost twice so far in the Toolstation Western Premier Division this season and currently sit seventh with games in hand on all of the teams above them. Bridport boss Trevor Senior, whose side lie fifth-bottom, said: “Hallen look a very strong side with a lot of experience. They have only lost a couple of games so far so it promises to be a really tough encounter.

“Having said that, four-nil flattered Willand last Monday and if we can put on a similar performance tomorrow and more importantly take our chances there is no reason why we cannot get a result.

“Chris is back after serving a three-match suspension and Darren is available too. They will add a bit more experience to the squad and with the likes of Sam Day, Mitch Conning, Jamie Morgan and Sam Charles all coming through well in midweek things are looking up ahead of a big month for us.

“After the Hallen game we have got four matches on the spin against teams around us in the table, which we will need to take points from.”

Darren Lock and Russell Legg will miss the game through suspension but there is encouraging news about long-term absentee Dan Peart.

Senior added: “Dan has started seeing a physio and it appears he has diagnosed the problem with his back. Apparently he has damaged ligaments and with the exercises and stretches he has been given to do hopefully he will be back in four weeks’ time.

“It has been a difficult period for him but it is great there is now light at the end of the tunnel and it will certainly be a bonus for us when he returns.”
