DORCHESTER'S Paul Blake goes for gold tonight in the T36 400m final.
The county town runner, 22, is scheduled to race at the Olympic Stadium at 8.47pm and his main rivals for the gold medal will be Russian duo Evgenii Shvetcov and Artem Arefyev.
Blake’s personal best, which he ran this season, is currently 55.20secs while Shvetcov’s best-ever offering is 54.28.
The Dorchester Athletics Club member also goes in the T36 800m final on Thursday night (7.20pm).
