FOUR-time world champion Vitor Shaolin Ribeiro was the star attraction at a hugely successful seminar at Dorchester Judo Club.
The Brazilian jujitsu ace was in Britain for just a week and the county town outfit are one of just seven lucky centres to benefit from his knowledge.
Dorchester Judo Club spokesman Andrew Jump said: “Shaolin owns his own academy in New York in the US where he has got 300 students so obviously it is very hard to get him over here.
“Thankfully we were one of the lucky few and his seminar was a big eye opener and everyone really enjoyed it. “We are now hoping to bring him back down again next year.”
Training sessions for students aged 13 and over are held at Dorchester Judo Club on Sawmills Lane every Sunday from 3-5pm.
