Day 3 of Miami OCR saw similar wind to day 2. The British Skud team have moved up to second place with the Sonar team still in third.

A good day for Paralympians in Miami

Day 1 of Miami OCR was very uneventful as big rain clouds were forecasted so the race committee decided not to send us out racing as they were not sure it they would bring too much wind and thunder and lightning.

Today was the first of two days of the 2.4mR US Midwinters regatta. After three frustrating days of training with little to no wind today brought 20 knots of wind.

Frustrating delays

Yesterday was one of the more frustrating days in sailing. We were meant to start day 2 of the regatta at 11.30 but did not actually start a race until 3 O’clock.

Taming the inner chimp

YESTERDAY I started my journey to Miami by travelling to my parents’ house in West Sussex. Today I will get a lift with my twin brother to Gatwick and then get the bus from Gatwick to Heathrow.
