British team dominate at Alex Caviglia regatta.

With four races on the final day of racing for the Paralympic classes tricky light winds lead to tight racing on Biscayne Bay.

The Sonar team of Hannah Stodel, John Robertson and Mark Rushall continued to dominate with four more race wins which lead to them winning the regatta with all first places.

The Skud team of Nikki Birrell and Alex Rickham had some tight battles on the final day but managed to win the regatta by four points. The 2.4 class could not have finished tighter.

The first three races saw Helena Lucas win the first, I won the second and the third which meant all medals were to be decided on the final race. Helena put a solid race together in ever decreasing wind to win the race and I managed to come through in second.

This meant that I had won the regatta by two points and Helena was tied for second with the Paralmpic Gold medallist from France Damien Seguin.

Helena had more second places in the series so it meant she got second place. In the RSX women class Bryony Shaw, bronze medallist from Beijing won her event comfortably.

It was a long hot day on the water but it was worth it and everybody is looking forward to the next regatta.
