WEYMOUTH Sailing Club yachts took part in the Cimbri Trophy.
The race involved sailing around Portland Bill and back. The conditions were rough and the wind was fluky.
Several yachts made their way around the race course with Arcsine, helmed by Kathy Claydon, taking the win by more than 10 minutes.
In second place was Jammy Dodger, helmed by Gary Owens while Nickel Coin, helmed by Mike Saunders, was third.
Meanwhile, this weekend the second of the autumn series for dinghies and the NHC single-handed class will commence at 1.30pm on Saturday.
The squibs and the NHC Fast and Slow classes will start at 10.30am on Sunday.
