The Skandia Team GBR performance squad Finn sailor will be among the inspirational torchbearers taking part in Day 56 of the relay route.
He will be carrying the flame at 9.30am through Weymouth.
The relay will remain in Weymouth for more than an hour before moving through Preston, Osmington and on to Purbeck and east Dorset.
Scott is the latest British Sailing talent to be celebrated with the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.
Triple Olympic sailing gold medallist Ben Ainslie was the very first torchbearer on May 19, from Lands End.
Last Friday, 1964 Olympic silver medallist Keith Musto joined the relay in Colchester.
Yesterday, Portland’s Skandia Team GBR performance squad sailor Katrina Hughes carried the flame into the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy before handing over to double Olympic Gold medallist Rodney Pattison who took the flame by boat towards Weymouth Beach.
Quadriplegic sailor Geoff Holt will also join today’s relay in Swanage.
On Sunday, Paralympic GB sailor Alexandra Rickham, who races in the Skud-18 class with Portland’s Niki Birrell, will carry the flame through Bridgemary, Hampshire.
A new RYA website called ‘Home of the British Sailing Team’ will be going live on Monday.
