A CHARITY cricket match will be held at Reforne on Sunday between the Portland Pirates and the Legends of Portland Red Triangle (2pm).

The Legends will be captained by Gary Randell, pictured, and is being supported by vice-captain Simon Barrett – the only two players, who have scored centuries in the Dorset Premier League, in the history of Triangle.

The remainder of the Legends team expected to be involved, under the guidance of Mickey Caswell are Alex and Simon Browne, Jan Davey, Melvin and David Tremlin, Phil White, Robin Satherley and possibly the return of club stalwart, Graham Elenor, from the Far East.

The Pirates will be managed by Conrad Cole, and will have some surprises in their line-up.

This will include an ex-university opening bowler, a former Bedford batsman and the George Inn landlord – Anthony Storey.

There will be refreshments at the John Baxter Pavilion and a barbecue to support fundraising for the club.

All families, friends and, especially ex-members, are welcome to attend.
