DORSET have a strong chance of ending their Unicorns Counties Championship season with a win, needing just five more wickets for victory over Cornwall at Dean Park tomorrow.

The visitors will resume on 88-5 in the morning, needing a further 159 to win.

Earlier in the day, having dismissed the visitors for 147, Dorset posted 189 in their second innings to set Cornwall 247 runs for victory.

Vice-captain Jake Lintott top scored for the hosts with a watchful 47 before he was caught by Cornwall’s Adam Cocking, who featured for Parley against Weymouth at Dean Park earlier this season.

Matthew Robins (20) and Paul Smith (4) will return to the crease to face the Dorset attack tomorrow.
