WEYMOUTH captain Harry Mitchell is confident about being able to boast his strongest side of the season when they travel to Marnhull in County Division Two tomorrow (1.30pm).
Weymouth have made numerous changes for the match and sit third in the table with four wins and two losses, 12 points behind league leaders Wimborne & Colehill Seconds.
Mitchell said: “I am feeling very confident about tomorrow, we have got a lot of players back in that have played in the Premier League and in my eyes it is the strongest team of the season. I am looking to go there and play positive cricket and get the win really.
“It has gone well but there are a couple of games, like Cranborne and Witchampton, where I would have liked to have win but with unavailability it has been difficult.
“Even when we have lost we have still played decent cricket in spells but just lacked a bit of quality in certain parts of the game but when we have won we have won convincingly so there are a lot of positives there.
“Some of the younger guys are starting to put in good performances which is encouraging for the club. There is a really good buzz around the club at the moment, which has been missing for a couple of years in my opinion.”
