DORSET had the upper hand after an extraordinary opening day of their Minor Counties Championship Western Division clash against Cornwall at Dean Park.
The hosts will resume this morning on 21 without loss – 87 runs ahead after no fewer than 20 wickets fell yesterday.
Nick Park (80 not out) and Masoor Khan (63) were the only major contributors as Dorset were all out for 202, having lost their final five wickets for 10 runs.
But skipper Tom Hicks (5-20) led a fightback to dismiss Cornwall for 136. The visitors collapsed at the hands of Hicks and Mark Wolstenholme and failed to score as their last five batsmen fell.
