Heath not giving up on Harry

STARLET: Harry Cornick
ONE-TIME Magpies’ transfer target Harry Cornick could still be a Dorchester Town player in the future, according to Stuart Heath.
The Wessex League starlet penned an 18-month contract with League Two side Bourne-mouth this week having attracted the attention of a number of clubs this season, the Magpies being one of them.
But assistant-manager Heath told Echosport that a potential loan deal for the Poole-based teenager might be a possibility next season.
“Harry deserves his crack at professional football,” said Heath, a friend of the Cornick family. “Bournemouth is a good club for developing youngsters and they’ll give him the best chance to progress.
“We would have liked him up at Dorchester but there is the possibility of a loan deal in the future.
“Our league is very physical and that’s one of the attributes he needs to improve so we could set something up for next season.”
Heath ruled out a return for Warren Byerley, the dual-contracted striker currently playing for Poole Town, who picked up an ankle injury on Saturday.
