THE Dorset Premier League is set to lock horns with the Jersey Combination at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

The FA Inter-League Cup quarter-final tie will take place at the home of Weymouth FC tomorrow (2pm).

Four Portland United players have been included in the DPL ranks and they are Lewis Whyton, Adam Linaker, Alex Halloran and Ashley Smith.

Weymouth Reserves’ duo Matt Harvey and Sean Zima were named in the initial 20-man squad but since then it has been cut to 16.

Harvey would not have been able to feature anyway due to the fact that he has now played in too many first-team games for the Terras.

If tomorrow’s encounter finishes all-square at the end of 90 minutes it will then move into extra-time and penalties if required.

Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for children, which includes a programme.

DPL squad (from): Tom Willis, Phil Ross, Kane Andrews, Richard Sands, Joe Wood, Luke Stone, Andy Knights (Hamworthy Rec), Lewis Whyton, Adam Linaker, Alex Halloran, Ashley Smith (Portland United), Aaron Sheard, George Mapletoft, Simon Bleazard (Tintinhull), Connor Jevon (Poole Borough), Grant Cormack (Merley Cobham Sports).

* Bridport Reserves will be looking to close the gap on the Bespoke Teamwear Dorset Premier League top four when they travel to Cranborne tomorrow (2pm).

Robin Townsend’s men are seven points adrift of fourth-placed Weymouth Reserves and will be confident of getting a result over the struggling Cranes.

Meanwhile, in the Dorset Senior League, leaders Chickerell United travel to Grove Corner to take on Portland United Res-erves in a derby crunch (2pm).

The Chickens currently hold a three-point advantage over West-land Sports but have played a game more.

Upwey & Broadwey, who sit in fourth, will be aiming to climb over third-placed Sturminster Marshall at Redlands tomorrow if the weather relents (2pm).
