BISHOP SUTTON v BEES

ANOTHER three points will do nicely for Bridport tonight when they make the trip to the Toolstation Western League Premier’s bottom club (7.30pm).

The Bees halted a poor run of form on Saturday with a 2-1 win at Hengrove and, with Bishop Sutton without a victory in 18, they should fancy their chances of beating last season’s champions.

Bridport boss Trevor Senior has a near fully fit squad to pick, though his son, Chris, pictured, is unavailable.

A win for Senior’s men would see them do the double over their hosts, and 16-year-old Rhys Hayter is set to be involved again after making his first-team debut on Saturday.

“We beat them 3-1 at home but made hard work of it,” said the manager. “We should have won more convincingly.

“They are bottom of the league and are not on the best of runs but then neither have we been.

“It’s all about getting the three points.”
