BEES’ boss Trevor Senior will be looking for back-to-back league wins tomorrow when his side entertain 16th-placed Winterbourne United at St Mary’s Field (3pm).

Bridport, who have claimed eight points from their last four fixtures on the road, sit in 14th position in the Western Premier Division at present, three points above tomorrow’s opponents.

Senior told Echosport: “It’s our first home game for about a month so hopefully we can get a good crowd and we can perform well.

“I don’t usually set a points target, but if we could take seven points out of nine in our next three games that would be ideal for us.

He added: “We drew with them last time on their 3G surface but, hopefully this time, we can make home advantage count.

“Our pitch looked decent when the reserves played there in the week so hopefully we can play some good football on it.”

In that reserve fixture, defender Chris Senior limped off after 35 minutes with a knee injury and is rated 50/50 to be included in the first-team squad for the weekend.

Bridport’s Darren Watts could be in contention to make his return as he continues to recover from a back injury picked up in the Bees’ goalless draw with Hallen two weeks ago, but Chris Luke will be unavailable due to suspension.

Manager Senior also hinted that 16-year-old Rhys Hayter could be called up to the first-team squad. Visitors Winterbourne have suffered four defeats in their last five games, but knocked off fifth-placed Willand Rovers in a 2-1 victory last Saturday.

Bees: S Filkins, J Filkins, Condliffe, Evans, Stuart, Ry Hayter, Buckler, Senior, Wise, Richardson, Hailu, Dovell, Morley, Rh Hayter, Watts.
