DORCHESTER’S Nick Crittenden has put pen to paper on a new deal with the club.

The former Yeovil Town man, who has racked up over 130 appearances for the Magpies since signing in June 2008, has agreed a contract to stay until the end of next season.

On securing the services of Crittenden for another term, Magpies’ boss Phil Simkin told Echosport: “Everybody at the club is delighted that Nick has signed for another year, he is held with the highest of respect with everyone at the club.

“He is a great role model for everyone involved and it will be great for us to have him on board for next season.”

Crittenden will not be involved in the Magpies’ trip to Basingstoke tomorrow due to a suspension, but Simkin insisted the 35-year-old will be back in the squad for Tuesday’s encounter with Maidenhead United.
