BRIDPORT v CADBURY HEATH

BRIDPORT manager Trevor Senior will be looking for his side to produce back-to-back league wins when they welcome Cadbury Heath to St Mary’s Field tomorrow (3pm).

Senior’s men produced a dominant display to dispatch Brisling-ton last time out, and three points against Cadbury Heath would see Senior’s men leapfrog their opponents in the Premier Division table.

On his side’s next fixture, Senior said: “Cadbury Heath are a team that we can catch in the league, so it’s a bit of a six-pointer.”

Goals from Ryan Dovell and Tom Richardson helped the Bees claim a 2-2 draw when the sides met earlier in the campaign, but they had three points snatched from them thanks to a last-gasp leveller.

Senior added: “We drew up at their place and they scored in the last few minutes. We should have won the game really but we know we are in for a tough game on Saturday.”

Top scorer Dovell is touch and go to start after he picked up a knock on his knee and had to be replaced at half-time on Tuesday evening, but Senior is confident the injury should ease in time for this weekend’s clash.

The Bees will be without Chris Senior and Sean Stewart is unavailable for the next two weeks, but they do welcome back Max Buckler to the squad.

Bristol-based Heath have been on a torrid run since the end of February, only picking up four points in their last nine league outings.
