BRIDPORT v WILLAND ROVERS

BRIDPORT are set to be boosted by the return of Jamie Symes and Darren Watts to their squad for tonight’s Toolstation Western League Premier Division home encounter with Willand Rovers (7.45pm).

The duo missed Saturday’s 0-0 stalemate at Brisling- ton where the Bees picked up their fourth point of the season.

But they go in pursuit of a third successive clean sheet against unbeaten Willand without Michael Hailu.

His substitute appearance for Trevor Senior’s men on Saturday was his last for the St Mary’s Field outfit before a move to Hallen.

Looking ahead to tonight’s fixture, Senior said: “Willand have started well and are unbeaten in the league so far.

“They did the double over us in the league last season and we will want to put that right. We’ve kept two clean sheets in a row and I’ve said to the lads that we need to get a good run going.

“Darren Watts was unavailable on Saturday and Jamie Symes was ill but those two should come back in.”

While Bridport have four points from as many games to date, their opponents have only played twice in the league this term.

They drew 2-2 at Bitton and then beat Shepton Mallett 2-1, while in between they saw off Radstock Town in the FA Cup.
