Magpies: Funeral date set for Legge
THE funeral of the late Dorchester Town kitman Alex Legge is to take place at St Mary’s Church in Dorchester next Friday, September 26 at 11am.
Tributes poured in for Legge after he passed away suddenly last Tuesday at the age of 38, while the Magpies’ dedicated their FA Cup win at Yate to the hugely popular character.
Legge was a big Dorchester fan and those attending the service are being given the option of wearing football shirts or bright clothing.
Flowers or donations for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice may be given at the service, online at dorchesterfunerals.com or sent to Matthew Lucas Funeral Directors, Down House, Widcombe Street, Poundbury, Dorchester DT1 3BS.
