A WIN for Weymouth at Dunstable tomorrow (3pm) could see them climb to third in the Southern Premier Division, as two of the league’s top sides lock horns in Bedfordshire.

The Terras are enjoying a rich vein of form having gone six games without defeat in all competitions.

However, Dunstable have just landed prolific non-League striker Ben Mackey on loan from Hemel Hempstead and are riding high in the table themselves.

Weymouth boss Jason Matthews brings Chris McPhee, George Rigg, Ashley Wells and Steve Colwell into his squad after they sat out the midweek victory over Dorchester.

Sam Poole had 45 minutes on Tuesday but is not expected to be ready for league football, while Chris Shephard is set to have a fitness test before the game.

Tomorrow’s trip to Dunstable could well be Weymouth’s toughest game of the campaign so far, and Matthews is delighted with how things are going.

“We have exceeded our expectations and over-achieved if anything,” he said.

“I’m really happy with where we are and it’s obviously more enjoyable when you’re winning.

“The lads playing have been doing well.

“We’ve got a few people carrying knocks that we are hoping will be fit tomorrow, but I don’t think Sam Poole is going to be ready to take part.

“From people I’ve spoken to I know Dunstable are a very good side. A lot of people rate them as one of the best in the league.

“They are strong going forward and that is something we will need to address on the day.

“But we kept a clean sheet in our last league game and in the FA Cup which was pleasing.”
