BLANDFORD United are looking to get back to winning ways when they travel to Sturminster Marshall in the Dorset Premier League tomorrow (3pm).

After conceding sloppy goals early on against Parley Sports in a 4-0 defeat last time out, there was a much improved second-half performance which followed from new boss Bradley Asagba’s men, where only a series of poor finishes prevented United from finding the net.

Commenting on his situation at the club, Asagba said: ”The task of winning matches is of course is never easy, however for us it is that little bit harder as we have to do so while trying to impose our philosophy on the team and integrate new players mid-season.

“However, all the players so far have showed a desire to take on board what we are trying to do here and that is all you can ask of them at this point.”

Asagba’s squad is boosted by the return of Thomas Oliver, while Kieran Mulvey is an injury doubt.

A win would see Blandford leapfrog their hosts in the Dorset Premier League table.
