RECORD-BREAKING striker Stewart Yetton is ready to head back to his old stomping ground today as he leads the Terras at Truro City.

And while the Treyew Road legend has a huge amount of respect for his former employers, he is looking to keep up a run of scoring against the Tigers in a Weymouth shirt.

“It’s going to be a tough game and it’s always nice to go back there,” he said.

“Luckily all three times I have played against them I have managed to score so hopefully I can continue that trend and we can get a result down there.”

The former City and Plymouth Argyle man, who notched 226 goals in 315 appearances for Truro, believes the Terras’ play-off push can get back on track if they find the right balance.

He added: “We have got the quality and you can see from our goalscoring record we can unlock the door and score against teams.

“We just need to be more solid as a side and make sure we get the balance between attack and defence.

“We need three points, with the teams we have left to play in Poole and Corby we have to start winning games, draws are not enough.”

The deadly striker was on target from the penalty spot the last time the sides met when they fought out a 1-1 draw at the Bob Lucas Stadium on New Year’s Day.
