WEYMOUTH RESERVES 3

SANCHEZ Jansz-Baker ended his season on a high as he netted a hat-trick for Weymouth Reserves in their 3-0 win at Sherborne Town Reserves on Saturday.

He opened the scoring in the 20th minute after good play from Lewis Clarke and added his second midway through the first half.

Jansz-Baker rounded off the scoring 10 minutes later, getting on the end of Sam Jackson’s through ball.

Both teams started brightly, missing a couple of clear-cut chances each in the opening exchanges.

After the fast start, Weymouth found their feet on a tricky surface and were ahead soon after.

Clarke played the ball into the area and with the ball not cleared the Terras’ in-form striker stole in to slot home with composure.

The away side continued to press forward but it took them until the 65th minute to double their lead.

In similar fashion to the first goal, Jansz-Baker neatly finished from close range.

He rounded off his haul in the 75th minute.

Jackson played a sublime through ball into the path of the striker who made no mistake.

The win means the Terras finish third in the Dorset Premier League.
