WEYMOUTH FC have launched the Terras Community Thankyou scheme to show their gratitude to people in the local community who go beyond the call of duty.
The Terras are looking for nominations from Echo readers and people on social media sites for anyone who has made a difference to them.
Liz Bell, from the club, said: “We will then invite them to a Weymouth match and provide them with full match hospitality and hopefully give them a really enjoyable afternoon or evening out.
“The Terras Community Thank you scheme is for groups of up to eight people from any local organisation.
“This could be staff on a hospital ward, teachers, charity workers, anybody who has gone that extra mile for local people.”
Nominations can be sent to commercial@theterras.co.uk or dropped in to the club.
Weymouth are also offering free entry to under-14s at their home game against Hayes & Yeading United on Tuesday, October 25.
To gain free admittance to the Evo-Stik Southern Premier match, which kicks off at 7.45pm, children must be accompanied by a parent.
Before that game, the Terras are in action on Saturday as they travel to Kettering Town as they look to put their 6-0 FA Cup defeat to Kidderminster Harriers behind them.
