PORTLAND United have postponed their FA Vase first round match against Horndean due to high winds.
The Blues had been set to face the Deans at Grove Corner this afternoon but the game will now be rescheduled.
Tuesday, October 24 is the provisional date for a potential fulfilment of the fixture, but Echosport understands both clubs are awaiting FA approval for the match to be played on Saturday, October 28.
So far, no other games involving local clubs have fallen victim to Storm Brian, which has produced recorded winds of over 70mph.
