WEYMOUTH manager Mark Molesley is looking to repeat his side’s recent home habit of winning when the Terras face Chesham United at the Bob Lucas Stadium in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division tomorrow (3pm).

Weymouth have been in superb home form of late and have won their last three home games, against Kings Langley, Tiverton Town and Biggleswade Town by a 2-0 scoreline.

Molesley said: “We’re going to be looking to repeat that against Chesham, a tough side.

“They are progressing in the cups and they have shot up the league so they’re another side hot on our tails.”

Chesham lost last time out to Stratford but had been in great form beforehand having not lost in their previous nine games.

Molesley said: “It’s another tough game at the Bob Lucas.”

“If we do things right, and we prepare right and do it the way we want to do it then I’m sure we can get three points.”

Pat Suraci, should he play, should make his last appearance for the club as his one-month loan from Bognor Regis is set to expire.

The Terras enjoyed a last-minute equaliser from Brandon Goodship in their eventful 3-3 draw away to Basingstoke Town in midweek.

The recent good form where the team have one loss in their last six games in all competitions has boosted belief in the Weymouth squad.

Molesley said: “We’re winning more games than we’re losing and we are a young side, growing and we are trying to progress and confidence is a massive thing in football.”

Molesley warned against getting carried away despite the dramatic nature of their draw against Basingstoke Town.

“We can gain confidence out of the result but there are a lot of warning signs for us to not get too carried away.

“These are things that we can put right which is good, I’m not seeing anything out there where I’m thinking we haven’t got that or we need this, we have got everything we need.

Molesley added: “It’s just learning and growing as a group together.”

The Terras are now without a midweek match until December 19 and Molesley is pleased with a chance to rest his players.

Molesley said: “We can rest up a few tired bodies it’s that stage of the year so we need to look after the squad, it’s a small team and it’s getting stretched to its maximum at the moment.

“We have had Saturday and Tuesday two heavy, long games so we will see how everyone is.”
