WEYMOUTH assistant manager Paul Maitland is wary of some impressive results from Bishop’s Stortford ahead of their trip to face the Terras at the Bob Lucas Stadium in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division tomorrow (3pm).

The last time the two sides met back in August goalkeeper Mark Travers scored a stunning winner from 75-yards out to seal a 3-2 win.

Maitland said: “It will be a difficult game, they have had some mixed results this season but you have to bear in mind they have beaten Slough away from home and they have beaten Dorchester just before Christmas as we so they have clearly got the capabilities to get results.”

Maitland added: “When we played them earlier in the season I was quite impressed with them, I thought they would be nearer to the top of the table than they are now.”

Maitland added: “They are not to be just brushed aside and taken lightly, it will be a difficult game and we will need to be fully prepared and fully motivated to get a result.”

Weymouth come into the match on a good run of form at home having not lost since a 2-0 defeat to Frome Town back in October and since then the Terras have amassed five wins and a draw at the Bob Lucas Stadium and currently sit third in the table with 54 points.

The Blues are in a mixed run of form with two wins in their last six matches and they have recently signed former Norwich City striker Jamie Cureton.

Jake McCarthy is close to returning for the Terras but he will be assessed later on before it is known if he will be able to be involved on Saturday.
