- Weymouth face King’s Lynn and are on a superb run of home form at the moment as they are unbeaten in six matches at the Bob Lucas, winning five and drawing one.
- When the two sides faced earlier in the season it was decided with a superb 75-yard shot from Mark Travers to seal a 3-2 win for the Terras.
- Travers left the club on Thursday after he was recalled by Bournemouth with fellow under-21 goalkeeper Will Dennis signing for Weymouth on loan from Bournemouth on the same day and will start for his debut today.
- Prior to the match the Terras announced that Jordan Ngalo has signed a contract with the club after impressing them after making appearances against Redditch United and Gosport Borough.
- Bishop’s Stortford have recently announced the signing of former Premier League and Norwich City striker Jamie Cureton, who made his debut in their 3-0 loss to Royston Town on New Year’s Day.
- Meanwhile, Dorchester enter their contest with King’s Lynn at The Walks having won just one of 13 league away games this season.
- Should left-back Neil Martin feature, he will make his 300th appearance for the Magpies.
- Earlier this season, the Magpies suffered a 2-0 loss to the Linnets at the Avenue Stadium, with Michael Clunan and Craig Parker the scorers in a one-sided affair.
- Dorchester will bid to rise above 20th place in backing up their 3-0 victory over Tiverton Town, while King’s Lynn will aim to return to winning ways after losing top spot to Kettering after their 1-0 loss against the Poppies on New Year’s Day.
- But Steve Thompson’s men have a good record against top five teams this season, having claimed four points against such opposition in their two most recent games.
