TOM Bearwish and Ryan McKechnie both scored a double at the Portland United awards evening.

The reserves’ Adam Anstey also took home a hat-trick of awards, while Che Curran, Lance Wilson, Linda McKechnie and Darren and Les Whyton also picked up awards.

Bearwish picked up the awards for Players' Player of the Year and Manager’s Player of the Year after a season that saw him score 11 goals for the Blues in 22 appearances in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division.

Ryan McKechnie was rewarded for his 16 goals this season with the First Team Top Goalscorer award and also bagged the First Team Supporters Player of the Year award during the season where he made 36 appearances for the Blues in the league this season.

Anstey’s hat-trick came from winning the Reserves' Supporters’ Player of the Year, Reserves Manager’s Player of the Year and Reserves' Players’ Player of the Year.

The most improved player went to Che Curran, who made 13 appearances for the reserves and three for the first team.

Lane Wilson picked up the award for the Portland United Young Player of the Year.

Club Persons of the Year went to Darren and Les Whyton, while Linda McKechnie picked up the award for Best Wessex League Premier Division Programme.
