CHRIS Luke and Sam Buckler are both major doubts for Bridport ahead of tonight’s clash with Bishop Sutton at St Mary’s Field (7.45pm).

Both men picked up injuries in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Cadbury Heath but boss Trevor Senior believes he has adequate cover if they fail to make it.

He said: “Both Chris and Sam had to come off at Cadbury Heath. Chris twisted an ankle and Sam injured his back so we will just have to see how they are.

“The good thing is we have the likes of Dan Peart and Max Buckler ready to step in and I know they will not let us down.”

Senior, whose side are winless in their last five in all competitions, went on to add: “I was happy with the performance on Saturday but tonight we must get something.

“We drew 0-0 with Bishop Sutton at their place earlier in the season and the fact they finished in the top six last year proves it is going to be another tough game.

“Having said that though if we can put on a similar display to the one at the weekend we will stand every chance of coming away with something.

“We just need a result to stop this current run we are in.”

Bridport currently lie 11th in the Toolstation Western Premier Division, one point and two places above Sutton.
