KYLE Critchell has left the Terras to join Wrexham on a two-year deal.

Weymouth have received an undisclosed fee for the 21-year-old defender who will link up with former Terra Jefferson Louis at the Racecourse Ground.

Critchell, who made 42 appearances for the Wessex Stadium outfit last season, still had another year left to run on his Weymouth contract.

But instead he has become Wrexham boss Brian Little's fifth summer signing and will line up against the Terras in the Blue Square Premier this coming season.

I can only assume he wanted to live in Wales and join Brian Little's 'revolution' at Wrexham as surely we didn't want to let him go. Still, the c.£15k will pay the team wages for a week.
