WEYMOUTH manager John Hollins is expecting new faces to arrive at the Wessex Stadium today as the Terras begin their pre-season preparations.
Training gets underway for the upcoming Blue Square Premier campaign, and having captured six new arrivals in the close season so far - the last being Adam Bygrave who joined in May - Hollins is hoping to announce the arrival of further new additions.
He said: "The first session is just about everyone being here and some new players putting pen to paper.
"Everything will be signed this morning and maybe we will all go out for a run in the afternoon.
"When the players do arrive it will be nice to be able to introduce them all."
The Terras' boss was expecting to have at least one goalkeeper at the club for the start of pre-season training.
And any new signings will help bolster a squad currently standing at 12 strong, alongside youngsters Jamie Frampton, Ollie Tribe and Ben Reiffer who will train with the first-team after impressing for Weymouth Under-16s and the county team last term.
On Saturday, Hollins said he was looking forward to the start of pre-season, and this Friday the club's league fixtures for the 2008/09 season will be revealed, and more importantly who the Terras will face on August 9 - the opening day.
Weymouth's first friendly of the summer, a trip to Dorset Premier League champions Portland United, is now just 11 days away.
