REDLANDS held their annual FA-sanctioned pre-season youth tournament at Redlands Community Sports Hub with 90 teams participating.

Team entries came from as far as Plymouth, Essex and Swindon and participated in age groups from under-6s to under-16s.

The tournament was opened in spectacular fashion with

Sister Fitness’ Victoria Jones giving the players a fitness warm-up session on stage prior to the match balls being delivered from 15,000ft, by the world famous Red Devils freefall parachute team.

The tournament then went into full swing with some fantastic action before a final awards ceremony at the end of the day.

Chairman Tim Davis said: “I am very proud to be able to provide such a prestigious tournament to the kids at grassroots, and promote the Redlands club as one of the leading FA Standard Charter approved organisations in the south west.

“It demonstrates how far Redlands FC have come and provides a platform to further develop and grow over the coming years.

“I am indebted to the Redlands committee tournament organisers for the amazing work they did to deliver the event.”
