A TOTAL of £381 has been raised by customers of Codfathers to support Portland Town FC.
Owner Paul Merry has been helping local groups in Portland for nearly two years with monthly fundraising.
Club founder Andy Barber said: “It’s the most collected in any month since Codfathers started to help raise money for local causes and that makes us very proud to think we are so well thought of in the local community.
“The money raised will go to the continued development of Gale Park, named after Garry Gale, who sadly passed away this year.
“Everyone at Portland Town FC wishes to thank Paul, Codfathers and the people of Portland for their amazing generosity.”
Portland Town assistant manager Rich Johnson said: “It’s an amazing amount of money to receive and it will make a massive difference to the future of the club.”
