SWANAGE T&H 0

DORCHESTER Sports put a disappointing week behind them after two Dorset Premier League defeats with a comfortable victory at the Avenue Stadium.

The hosts had conceded eight goals in the last two games and the main focus for Sports was to get back to defensive basics and they stuck to the plan and dominated large parts of the first half.

Jamie Beasley caused problems for the Swans down the left-hand side and county town side should have taken the lead but Will Turland’s close-range strike hit a post from a Beasley cross.

However, Beasley slotted in after 20 minutes to give his side the lead from a Jamie Samways’ pass.

Beasley completed his brace shortly after when good work from Joel Hewitt gave the former another close-range effort which found the bottom corner.

Swanage come out brighter in the second half but Beasley went close to completing his hat-trick but his shot was well saved late on.
