BLANDFORD UNITED 1
BALTI SPORTS 3
BALTI Sports recorded their fourth win in six games with a 3-1 success at Blandford United in the Dorset Premier League.
Marco Nott’s men took an early 2-0 lead thanks to predatory strikes from Ethan Devaney, who closed the United defence down before winning possession and slotting home before Oscar Preece slid home a through ball.
But after the break an excellent side-footed finish from Joe Freak found the top corner before Liam Taylor’s 18-yard header ensured Sports grabbed the win with a firm 18-yard header from Ricky Lane’s cross on 74 minutes.
Nott was full of praise for keeper Andy Nott. He said: “Andy has been like a different goalkeeper. He’s commanding his area and has been outstanding. It’s giving the team confidence.”
Balti host Swanage Town and Hertson at Weymouth College tomorrow (6.30pm).
