AFTER a period of inactivity, Weymouth Ladies return to South West League Premier Division action tomorrow when they entertain Cheltenham Town at the Bob Lucas Stadium (2pm).

Slowly but surely, Weymouth are beginning to get over their injury problems, which have hampered their early season form.

Chelsea academy player and last season’s leading goalscorer in the league, Philippa Holden is still sidelined with her broken ankle and still faces a while out.

Midfield star Georgia Rogers is also set to miss the game again with an ankle injury and influential Bryony Webb has knee problems, but she will almost certainly play through the pain.

New signing Jody Urwin comes into the squad and she makes a welcome return to the club.

Visitors Cheltenham have been on a good run lately and are led by two of the league’s best players, midfielder Rhona Donaldson and striker Charlie Griffin.

Both of these players represented the Robins when they played at Wembley.

Both sides are desperate for the points and a close encounter is expected.

Admission prices are £2 for adults and £1 for children.

As a special offer, Weymouth are looking for a minimum of 11 girls aged between six and 12 to come forward to be mascots and ball girls for the day.

As well as leading the team out and going into the dressing room pre-match, the girls can join in the warm up and also have a small-sided game on the pitch.

Also they will be in a team photo with the players.

If you would like to register a place, email Tim Davis via tim_wfc@hotmail.com or, alternatively turn up at 1pm in football kit.
