DANNY Green enjoyed a dream debut at Loop Meadow on Saturday by coming off the bench and rescuing the Magpies with two fantastic goals.
The versatile ex-Truro City full-back was deployed up front and did the damage in the second half after Didcot Town had taken a deserved lead into the break.
In fact, the Evo-Stik Division One South & West outfit were by far the better side in the first 45 minutes but just could not quite claim a replay as Green went on to grab the winner in the closing stages.
